What is Stem?

STEM is all about the four key learning areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. It is about equipping children with the skills needed to thrive in these areas, which are more important in today's world than ever before.

IndigiSTEM

IndigiSTEM provides easy to follow STEM activities for early learners (3-6 year olds). Each activity has an Indigenous context or theme so educators can use the activities as a platform to share information about Indigenous culture. Examples of topics covered include bush foods, Aboriginal astronomy, creating bush shelters and much more.

Riley Callie Resources

Riley Callie Resources came about from our desire to introduce young children to a fun and engaging way of learning Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) which incorporates Indigenous thinking and contexts. STEM is all about integrating knowledge in a holistic and meaningful way to engage students. We firmly believe that STEM provides an ideal platform for educators to introduce children to the rich depth of knowledge and unique perspectives that Indigenous Australia has to offer.
