Educational resources for the early learning space...

grounded in Indigenous thinking

Riley Callie Resources came about from our desire to introduce young children to a fun and engaging way of learning Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) which incorporates Indigenous thinking and contexts. STEM is all about integrating knowledge in a holistic and meaningful way to engage students. We firmly believe that STEM provides an ideal platform for educators to introduce children to the rich depth of knowledge and unique perspectives that Indigenous Australia has to offer.

Here at Riley Callie we recognise that the early learning years are critical to a child's future development and it is our aim to provide you with innovative products which make learning fun!

The founder of Riley Callie is Debbie Hoger, a Dunghutti woman and a Mum of two children under the age of four. Debbie has always had a passion for STEM, and developed the IndigiSTEM resources because she wanted to see preschools and kindergartens drawing on materials which not only engage children in STEM, but celebrate Indigenous Australia. In developing these resources, Debbie drew upon knowledge about her own cultural heritage, as well as her educational background in Anthropology (Debbie holds a Bachelor of Arts/Science with a First Class Honours in Anthropology).

Our business has been made possible by a collaboration with fellow Indigenous business, Murawin Pty Ltd.
