The TIPIAC x Riley Callie Resources National First Nations Education Conference 2026 was born from a shared vision between two First Nations-led educational organisations, TIPIAC and Riley Callie Resources.
Together, we set out to create a dedicated space where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander champions in education can come together to share insights, spark meaningful conversations, and drive change in how First Nations perspectives are embedded in early childhood and primary education.
While general education conferences are readily available, we recognised a gap: a lack of high-quality, First Nations-led professional development explicitly tailored to equipping educators with the cultural knowledge, confidence, and practical strategies needed to embed authentic Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives across all subjects and year levels.
This conference is our response. It is not just a one-off event, it marks the beginning of an annual gathering committed to elevating First Nations voices within the education sector.
By connecting educators and teachers with inspiring First Nations change-makers, this conference empowers attendees with the tools, knowledge, and motivation to engage with First Nations content in ways that are culturally respectful, meaningful, and transformative.
