Through her stories, the granddaughter and her class begin to understand that Country is more than just land.

This story gently explores First Nations Peoples deep rooted connection to Country, highlighting the spiritual, cultural and ancestral bonds passed down from our Elders that guide how we care for the world, in a child-friendly way.

Together, we also learn the difference between an Acknowledgement to Country and a Welcome to Country, and why both are important ways of showing respect for First Nations people.
