Letters from Country

Letters from Country
Letters from Country is a thoughtfully designed set of 12 beautifully illustrated posters that invite children to learn with Country across the year.
Created for early learning environments, each large-format poster is intended for display in classrooms, foyers, and shared learning spaces - one for each month of the year. Alongside the display set, you’ll also receive the same 12 letters in A4 size, perfectly formatted for educators to hold and read aloud during group time.
Each poster is written as a gentle letter from Country to children. Through a warm, calm, and respectful voice, Country introduces a different First Nations–related topic each month, such as Aboriginal tools, totems, seasonal calendars, caring for land, and ways of knowing, being, and doing. The language is intentionally soft and accessible, supporting young children to listen, wonder, and ask questions.
Designed to be used as a monthly provocation for learning, Letters from Country supports ongoing, meaningful engagement rather than one-off lessons. Educators can revisit each letter over several weeks - sparking conversations, play-based experiences, art, storytelling, and connections to local Country.
