Reframing PLPs in NSW Schools: Leadership, Community & Shared Responsibility

Join us for a 90 minute interactive discussion with practical examples, including strategies for leadership and teachers to implement PLPs effectively and sustainably.
Personalised Learning Pathways (PLPs) often become a compliance task carried by classroom teachers, creating stress and missed opportunities for genuine relationship-building. This professional learning session supports NSW school leaders, Aboriginal Education Officers (AEOs), and interested classroom teachers to implement PLPs as a whole-school, community responsibility that meets policy requirements while reducing teacher load.

Through practical examples from real school contexts, participants will explore how to centre student voice, strengthen community relationships, and share responsibility for PLPs across leadership, AEOs, teachers, families, and students. There’s a strong focus on meaningful cultural goal-setting, role clarity, and practical systems for monitoring and check-ins that actually work in practice.
